I led the design and execution of global consumer-facing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative briefs while navigating the complexities of the IHG commercial brand. I worked from detailed design blueprints, consistently pushing creative boundaries to challenge the status quo and deliver compelling, brand-consistent content. Additionally, I developed innovative concepts and frameworks that were adopted by future teams, contributing to the ongoing success of campaigns.
Holiday Inn Website
I served as the art director for the latest updates on Holiday Inn’s website, where I was responsible for overseeing the design and creative direction of the new page layouts. This included carefully selecting images that aligned with the brand’s visual identity, ensuring the overall tone of the page remained consistent with Holiday Inn’s values, and creating a user-friendly layout that enhances the guest experience. Throughout the process, I worked closely with various stakeholders to incorporate their feedback, making sure the design met their specific needs while staying within the established brand guidelines. The challenge was to balance creative innovation with maintaining a cohesive brand image, all while delivering a design that aligns with the expectations of both the client and the end user.
IHG Sports Campaign
I was responsible for the art direction of this comprehensive sports campaign, where I made the selection of imagery, the development of landing page design and user flow, as well as the creation of sell sheets and tradeshow banners. A crucial aspect of the project was maintaining alignment with the IHG masterbrand guidelines while also catering to the unique identity and needs of each individual hotel. Balancing these distinct requirements allowed the campaign to stay cohesive under the larger IHG brand umbrella while ensuring that each hotel’s character and target audience were represented effectively across various marketing materials.
IHG Brand Banners
As part of my role in designing promotional banners for specific brands, I was responsible for selecting appropriate images and crafting the layout for each banner. Each brand came with its own set of specific guidelines and style guide, which required careful attention to detail. My primary task was to ensure the design adhered to these guidelines while selecting imagery that effectively represented the product and resonated with the brand’s identity. The challenge was to maintain consistency with each brand’s established look and feel, while also creating visually engaging promotional material that communicated the product’s key attributes.
